London names condition for unfreezing of Russian state assets in British jurisdiction

The Russian state assets freeze may be lifted under the UK jurisdiction if the Russian Federation agrees to pay compensation to Ukraine, reported from the British Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

"The Foreign Secretary has also announced, consistent with our laws, that Russia’s sovereign assets in our jurisdictions will remain immobilized until Russia agrees to pay for the damage it has caused to Ukraine,” reads the statement.
