Azerbaijan downs two Armenian drones over Karabakh: Defense Ministry

The Azerbaijani army shot down two Armenian drones northeast of the Nagorno-Karabakh region on Saturday, the Defense Ministry in Baku said.
The drones were flying over Azerbaijani army positions in Tartar District, the ministry said in a statement on its website.
It gave no further details.
The Armenian Defense Ministry dismissed the claim.
Armenia captured nearly one-fifth of Azerbaijan’s internationally recognized territory, including Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent districts, in a war after the Soviet breakup in 1991.
While major hostilities ended with a ceasefire in 1994, no peace agreement has been signed.
Azerbaijan says it reserves the right to use military force to regain control of the territory should peace talks mediated by Russia, France and the United States fail to bring results.
