Riot police in Azerbaijan used tear gas and stun grenades to disperse residents of Siyazan districts protesting prices rises on Wednesday.

As many as 50 people were detained for participating in the rally unsanctioned by the authorities, according to Meydan TV.
Video shared on social media showed protesters throwing stones at police.

Protests against high prices were also held in Fuzulu, Agcabadi, Agsu and Lankaran districts.
