Special forces from five countries to hold joint drills in Azerbaijan in September

A planning conference was held in Baku ahead of the multinational military exercise “Unshakable Brotherhood-IV,” scheduled for September in Azerbaijan, the country’s Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
The exercise will bring together special forces units from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
During the meeting, representatives of the participating countries discussed organizational matters, coordinated scenarios for the exercise’s practical phase, and reviewed joint operational planning and coordination efforts.
The focus was on improving interoperability, deepening military cooperation, and exchanging professional expertise among the forces.
The exercise aims to enhance the combat readiness and cohesion of special operations units in multinational missions and contribute to regional security.
