Azerbaijani President congratulates Trump on U.S. Independence Day

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to U.S. President Donald Trump on the occasion of Independence Day, the president’s office said on Thursday.

In the letter, Aliyev emphasized the importance of friendly relations and partnership between Azerbaijan and the United States, highlighting cooperation in strengthening global peace, combating terrorism, and ensuring energy security.

Aliyev noted that the United States has long been a reliable partner in Azerbaijan’s energy sector and praised Washington’s continued support for major infrastructure projects promoting stability and development in the region.

He also expressed confidence that there is great potential to expand cooperation in trade, transport, industry, high technologies, and investment.
