Azerbaijan opposition figure Jamil Hasanli summoned again by the security service

Jamil Hasanli, chairman of Azerbaijan’s National Council and a former lawmaker, has been summoned again to the State Security Service (SSS), he said.

Hasanli said he had not been informed of the reason for the summons.

Late last month, Hasanli was detained at the airport while attempting to travel to Dubai and later that day gave testimony to the SSS in connection with a criminal case involving Ramiz Mehdiyev.
