U.S. companies to support agreements with Azerbaijan – Embassy
U.S. companies are ready to support the implementation of agreements reached between the United States and Azerbaijan, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan said in a post on X.
U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Azerbaijan Amy Carlon met in Baku with representatives of 31 leading American companies to discuss investment opportunities and prospects for economic cooperation.
The embassy noted that this is the first business mission to Azerbaijan organized under the auspices of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The visit is part of U.S. efforts to expand economic engagement formalized in a memorandum of understanding signed in August 2025 by U.S. President Donald Trump and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Carlon said U.S. companies are among the most innovative in the world and can make a significant contribution to unlocking the full potential of the agreements reached on August 8.
