Hikmet Hajiyev and Alen Simonyan Hold Peace Talks

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, has held a meeting with the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Alen Simonyan. Hikmet Hajiyev announced the meeting on his official X account.

"Following the meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Bishkek, discussions on the peace agenda continued with Alen Simonyan," Hajiyev stated.

On August 31, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a bilateral meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Bishkek.
