Ilham Aliyev Meets Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Bishkek

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Bishkek on September 1.

The bilateral meeting took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. The leaders discussed the deepening of Azerbaijani-Turkish strategic alliance, regional security developments, and joint transport and energy initiatives.
