President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Azerbaijan to attend the fifth meeting of the Turkey-Azerbaijan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in the city of Ganja on Feb. 18, the presidential press center announced in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, Erdoğan will chair the meetings together with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Along with bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, international and regional issues such as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be discussed. A series of agreements is also expected to be signed between the two countries, the statement said.
