Aliyev receives credentials of new Israeli ambassador in Baku

President Ilham Aliyev has received the credentials of Israel’s newly-appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan, Dan Stav.
According to the state news agency Azartac, the ambassador praised Azerbaijan as a "land of stability”, stressing the importance of peaceful coexistence of various ethnic and religious groups in the country.
President Aliyev said religious tolerance and multiculturalism have taken deep roots in Azerbaijan. He said the Jewish community is actively involved in the country’s economic and cultural life.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the current state of relations between the two countries.
