European Parliament "lost sense of reality", presidential aide says

Hasanov criticized a resolution adopted by the European Parliament about Azerbaijan on September 10. He blamed "Islamophobic and pro-Armenian cricles" for the resolution.

"I can tell you with much assurance that these non-stop actions, subjective resolutions are directly linked with the incitement of these circles. It has become a common practice to adopt resolutions based on absurd claims especially during big international events taking place in Azerbaijan. Such statements are controlled by Islamophobic fractions outside of the European Parliament," he said.
