SOCAR starts repairs at Heydar Aliyev refinery

Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR has started repairing the catalytic cracking unit of the Heydar Aliyev refinery in the capital, Baku.

The repairs will help improve the quality of productions and boost production, the company said on its website.

SOCAR earlier said it borrowed 1.2 billion manat from the Centrtal Bank to finance the upgrading of the refinery.

It isn't clear when the repairs at the catalytic cracking unit will be completed.
