Sahiba Gafarova met with Malaysian PM

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told 

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim noted the importance of the 46th General Assembly of AIPA and thanked the Speaker of the Milli Majlis for participating in the event.He asked to convey his greetings and best wishes to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

During the conversation, the Prime Minister said that they were following the dynamic development of Azerbaijan and expressed that Malaysia was pleased with the successes achieved by Azerbaijan, especially economic progress and the increase in its international reputation.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova noted the importance of the friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Malaysia. Satisfaction was expressed with the mutual support of our countries in various international organizations.

The meeting exchanged views on issues of cooperation between our parliaments.
