SOCAR says it has no assets in Montenegro
27.10.2015 15:30
SOCAR has no assets in Montenegro, SOCAR vice-president Suleyman Gasimov said, APA reports.

According to him, the reports that SOCAR entered banking sector in Montenegro are not true.

Gasimov added that SOCAR "gave” its tourism-resort complex, which it purchased on Kumbor Island in 2011,  to the "partners”. The partner will be named soon.

SOCAR reportedly plans to open a bank in Montenegro. The Central Bank of Montenegro is expected to grant a license to SOCAR.

SOCAR’s tourism-resort complex is estimated at $281.2 mln. The project is implemented by SOCAR’s daughter company Azmont Investments.
