Azerbaijan’s 11-month economic growth accelerates yr/yr

Azerbaijan’s economy expanded by 3.1 percent year on year in the first 11 months of 2015, faster than a year earlier when gross domestic product grew by 2.2 percent, according to a State Statistics Committee report published Tuesday.
The driver of the economic growth was non-oil industries, which rose by 4 percent, the report said.
Azerbaijan pumped 0.4 percent less crude oil and 6.3 percent more marketable natural gas during the period.
Consumer prices grew by 3.7 percent.
