Bakcell retains superior coverage at Baku Metropolitan

At present 127 2G and 3G base stations serve all Baku Metropolitan area providing stable signal reception for Bakcell subscribers to remain reachable both at platform stations and metro tunnels. 

According to the recent network quality benchmarking survey, performed at Baku Metropolitan by an independent third party service provider, Bakcell has sustained its superior position having significantly stronger coverage compared to competitors. Bakcell customers can benefit from 2G and 3G coverage at metro entrances, station connections, and platforms. Bakcell 2G coverage at underground tunnels is completed at 90%* while 3G coverage is at 80%* of all metro branch lines length. While other operator network has significantly weaker coverage at underground tunnels (78%*) and no 3G coverage in the most part of metro area.
