The BP-led Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline exported 28.8 million tons of Azerbaijani oil last year, up from 28.5 million tons in 2014, according to data on SOCAR’s website.

The pipeline also shipped a combined 23.7 million tons of Turkmen and Kazakh oil in 2015, SOCAR said, without giving a year on year difference.

BTC is Azerbaijan’s main oil export pipeline. The country also uses the Baku-Supsa and Baku-Novorossiysk links and railway to export oil.

BP leads the BTC pipeline with a 30.1 percent stake. Its partners in the project include SOCAR, Statoil, Total and others.
