Costa Rica to open embassy in Azerbaijan

Costa Rica is going to open an embassy in Baku, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.
The Latin American nation's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship has formally expressed its intention to open an embassy in Azerbaijan this year, the ministry said.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry welcomed the decision, saying that the opening of an embassy would help expand ties between the two counties.
