Inflation accelerates in Azerbaijan in 2025

Average annual inflation in Azerbaijan reached 5.6% in 2025, up from 2.2% in 2024.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, prices for food, beverages and tobacco products rose by 6.8% year on year, non-food goods by 2.5%, and paid services to the population by 6.5%.

In December 2025, consumer prices increased by 5.2% compared with December a year earlier. Food, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose by 6.4%, non-food goods by 2.5%, and paid services by 6.5%.

Month on month, inflation in December stood at 0.8%. Food, beverages and tobacco prices increased by 1.4%, non-food goods by 0.2%, and services by 0.3%.
