Information officer of US embassy in Azerbaijan visits APA Holding

 
During the meeting, Vusala Mahirgizi highlighted the high-level relations between APA Holding and the US embassy, noting that this cooperation will further continue. She thoroughly informed the guests about the activities of APA Holding.  
 
In turn, Nicholas Barnett said that the embassy always attaches importance to cooperation with media outlets in Azerbaijan.
 
Mentioning that 2016 was declared the Year of Multiculturalism in Azerbaijan, the information officer praised the multiculturalism values in Azerbaijan. "The US, as a country of contrasts, stands ready to share its experience with Azerbaijan in this field [multiculturalism],” he added.  
 
Moreover, the sides exchanged views on the current state of Azerbaijan's media and ways to further deepen cooperation between the US embassy and APA Holding.
