Azerbaijan simplifies visa procedures ahead of Formula 1

Foreigners and stateless persons, arriving in Azerbaijan for Formula 1 will be able to get visas at Azerbaijan’s international airports, according to the decree.

One of the following documents can be considered as a basis for visa issuance:

- a document confirming permanent accreditation in line with rules of the Formula One Management Limited and International Automobile Federation, which are the international organizers of Formula 1;

- a ticket for the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe or a document confirming the ticket purchase.

The 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will be held on June 17-19 in Baku.
