Modernize the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery

Contract Awarded for Modernize the Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery in Azerbaijan.

The Houston-based engineering and construction company has a history of working in Azerbaijan. This contract went to SOCAR-KBR, a joint venture the company launched last year to do engineering, construction and consulting for oil and gas projects in that region. As part of the restructuring KBR has been undergoing since December 2014 the company has focused on increasing its business in the region.

KBR did not disclose the value of the contract.
