Military attaches accredited in Azerbaijan invited to the Defense Ministry

The meeting was also joined by major-general Huseyn Mahmudov, head of the International Military Cooperation Office, the ministry's website said.  

 

The military attaches were informed about the latest escalation along the contact line of Armenian-Azerbaijani troops, reasons behind the violation of the ceasefire, the attempts of Armenian side to attack the front line of defense and constant shelling of Azerbaijani villages situated along the front line with large-caliber weapons.

 

Moreover, they were informed about the shelling of  residential areas, vehicles, and areas near the farms with artillery weapons by Armenians  as well as about the deterrence of these provocative acts by Azerbaijani armed forces.
