Ilham Aliyev, Russian PM hold a one-on-one meeting

The president Ilham Aliyev underlined about intensive development of relationships between two nations.He added that in recent days Armenian armed forces have carried out another provocation: "Azerbaijan has  taken response measures. I thank Russia for its efforts in direction of stopping the escalation.President of Russia Vladimir Putin has called  me and Armenian president."

The head of state said that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be resolved in accordance with international law and the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

 

Russian PM said that the relations between two countries have strategic partnership character: "Straining  of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is not simple situation.Russia as a member of UN Security Council and OSCE Minsk Group tries to resolve the conflict. Negotiations must be continued. Russia will do its best in finding solution to this issue."
