Revenge for our martyrs will be taken and our territories will be liberated from the occupation: Zakir Hasanov

 

"It is very tough and difficult to speak here today. But we must tell the truth. Armenians have committed crime, genocide against our people for hundreds of years. If we do not prevent them, they will continue again.” said Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov  at the farewell ceremony of fallen officers.

The pilots of downed Mi-24 helicopter-major Tabriz Musazade, Major Urfan Mammadzade, Senior Lieutenant Babek Ismayilov and Lieutenant Colonel of Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Murad Mirzeyev lost their lives while suppressing the Armenian offensive.

"I want to underline that our martyrs demonstrated to the whole world that people of Azerbaijani are heroic. Under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-chief, Azerbaijani Armed Forces will fulfill their sacred duty. I want to repeat the words of great leader Heydar Aliyev: Each soldier, each officer of Azerbaijani army should know that the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan must be restored at any cost. Today under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-chief, the Armed Forces are in high spirit. The armed forces justify the trust of Azerbaijani people. I want to mention that the revenge for our martyrs will be taken and our territories will be liberated from the occupation. May Allah have mercy on you!” said minister.
