Reconstruction of the Heydar Aliyev oil refinery will be completed by 2020

President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev held a meeting at Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery on April 28.
Rovnag Abdullayev was informed that representatives of "SOCAR-KBR" contractor company have been engaged in management of this project.
"Amec-Foster Willer" and "Socar-FW" Engineering Alliance have been contracted for Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED).
SOCAR’s President highly valued the importance of reconstruction work carried out at the refinery and said modernization of old units and construction of new ones will enable to produce high-quality oil products in accordance with Euro-5 standards.
He also noted that reconstruction would be completed in 2019-2020. A number of agreements have been signed with foreign companies.
