Shah Deniz gas exports up 4.8% in Jan-April

Gas exports under stage one of Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz project grew 4.8% year-on-year in January-April 2016 to 2.515 billion cubic meters (bcm), the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee told Interfax.


Overall, Azerbaijan's trunk pipelines carried 7.322 bcm of gas in January-April, down 8.9% year-on-year.


In 2015 exports of Azerbaijani gas under stage one of the Shah Deniz project totaled 6.65 bcm.
