Visa regime between Iran, Azerbaijan to be annulled

The visa regime between Iran and Azerbaijan will be annulled in two months, Tasnim News Agency reported on 24 July.


He added that a representation office of the Iranian Foreign Ministry had been opened in Orumiyeh, the capital of the province, and that opening of an office to issue visas for foreign national is also planned in Orumiyeh, due to flights planned to be launched to neighbouring countries from the province.


Montazemi added: "At the moment, there is one flight from West Azarbayjan to Istanbul, and in case, the number of passengers goes up, there will be flights from Orumiyeh to Iraq and to some other Turkish cities."
