Tehran appoints new ambassador to Baku
Jahangirzadeh will soon depart Tehran for Baku to act as Iran's new ambassador to Azerbaijan Republic.
Javad Jahangirzadeh has been nominated to replace Mohsen Pakayeen who is the current ambassador of Iran to Baku.
Jahangirzadeh represented the people of Urmia in Iran's 7th, 8th and 9th Parliaments and was a member of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission though he failed to find his way to the 10th Parliament.
In the ninth round, Jahangirzadeh was deputy head of the Islamic Parliament Research Center (IPRC) which is chaired by Kazem Jalali.
