Azerbaijan ups oil exports 1.4% in H1, gas down 7.85%

 Azerbaijan exported 17.973 million tonnes of oil in H1 2016, 1.4% more than in the same period last year, a government official told Interfax.


Oil exports fell 30.5% in value to $4.775 billion.


Oil declared for export amounted to 10.552 million tonnes for $2.911 billion.


Azerbaijan's gas exports fell 7.8% year-on-year in H1 2016 to 4.062 billion cubic meters ( bcm) and 30.6% to $706.333 million.


This included 714.4 million cubic meters for $113.973 million cleared under simplified customs declarations.


Azerbaijan exported 32.52 million tonnes of oil and 8.405 billion cubic meters of gas in 2015.
