Armenia violates ceasefire with Azerbaijan 16 times

Armenian armed forces have violated the ceasefire with Azerbaijan 16 times using large-caliber machine guns in various directions of the contact line in the last 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on September 29.

 

Armenian armed units stationed in the Barekamavan village of Armenia’s Noyemberyan district, Vazashen village and on the nameless heights of Ijevan district fired at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in the Gaymagli, Bala Jafarli villages and on the nameless heights of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district.

 

Moreover, Azerbaijani army positions located in the Aghbulag village of Tovuz district were fired at by Armenian armed units stationed in the Aygedzor village of Berd district.

 

Azerbaijani army positions located near the Garakhanbeyli village of Fuzuli district, Mehdili village of Jabrayil district and on the nameless heights of the Goranboy district also came under fire from Armenian positions.
