Azerbaijani president congratulates German president

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has congratulated his German counterpart Joachim Gauck on the occasion of the country’s national holiday - the Day of German Unity.

 

"On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and your country`s people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Federal Republic of Germany - German Unity Day," said President Aliyev in his letter of congratulations. 

 

Azerbaijan-Germany relations are developing in a dynamic and comprehensive manner, Ilham Aliyev noted. 

 

"I believe that the expansion of our friendly relations and mutual steps towards deepening bilateral cooperation in all areas will contribute to strengthening partnership between the two countries," said the president. "On this remarkable day, I extend my best wishes to you, and wish the friendly people of Germany everlasting peace and prosperity.”
