October 5 is the World Teachers’ Day.

Today, October 5, is annually celebrated as the World Teachers’ Day.

UNESCO roclaimed October 5 to be World Teachers' Day in 1994, APA reports

The Day is aimed at celebrating the role teachers play in providing quality education at all levels.

Azerbaijan has been celebrating Teachers’ Day since 1993.
