Azerbaijan detains Iraqi citizens for illegal hunting

Two Iraqi citizens—Saif Jamal Nadhim and Jalil Hamid Bares—were detained by police on October 13 for attempted poaching in the territory of Azerbaijan.
 
Various hunting supplies including traps and feed were seized from them, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA on Oct. 17.
 
The detainees were fined AZN 2,000 each, under Article 272.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
 
The ministry added that they have sent a request to the State Migration Service for the two Iraqi citizens to be deported.
