Azerbaijan says ready to cap oil production unilaterally

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev said his country was ready to freeze oil production unilaterally, according to an interview to Russia's RIA news agency published on Tuesday.
   
 
"We state this unilaterally that we will not increase oil production even without any other decisions," he told RIA.
   
 
Azerbaijan produced 31.268 million tonnes of oil and gas condensate in January-September, 0.3 percent less than in the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee said on Monday.
