SOFAZ strategic gold exchange reserves insure both financial and political risks - Executive director

Storing of gold reserves by SOFAZ bears a long-term and strategic character, Executive Director of SOFAZ Shahmar Movsumov said in his interview to Caspian energy magazine.

"We consider investments, made into gold, not as an element of investment portfolio diversification but as a part of strategic gold exchange reserves of Azerbaijan aimed at insuring both financial and political risks”, he said.
