UN representative states support to OSCE Minsk Group's efforts on Karabakh settlement

 The United Nations advocates peaceful settlement of the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, Resident Coordinator of the Organization in Azerbaijan Ghulam Isaczai said.


Isaczai told journalists on Monday that the UN wants to see the conflict resolution between the two countries in the peaceful manner. He said that the UN supports the OSCE Minsk Group in this direction, and the issue of working out a peaceful solution to the conflict has been integrated into the task by the OSCE Minsk Group's co-chairs.


Currently, the OSCE Minsk Group chairs are visiting the region in order to discuss the ways to settle the conflict with the conflicting parties.
