Foreign direct investments in Turkish economy exceed $16B

Foreign direct investments in Turkey’s economy exceeded $16 billion in 2015, said Arda Ermut, president of the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT), the Anadolu Agency reported Oct. 31.

As for 2016, Ermut noted that foreign direct investments in the Turkish economy amounted to $659 million in May, to $857 million in June, to $717 million in July, and to $1.078 billion in August.

Turkey intends to attract more foreign investments, he added.
