Armenians contaminating Aghstafachay reservoir

Armenia continues contaminating water reservoirs situated in Azerbaijan.
Numerous expired Armenian-made drink bottles and chemicals have been discovered at the Aghstafachay reservoir, which is situated in a border village in Azerbaijan's Gazakh district. Moreover, ANAMA employees found a number of dubious packages and explosives.
Yusif Nasibov, head of the Aghstafachay hydrojunction servicing department, says the rivers originating from Armenia flow into the Aghstafachay River from a distance of 104km. Armenia dispose household waste as well as poisonous chemicals into the river. Despite the cleaning work around the reservoir, waste materials keep coming as water levels rises in the rivers. "The enemy is trying to harm civilians.”
The water of this reservoir is also used by residents of Gazakh, Aghstafa, and Tovuz.
