Egypt, Azerbaijan discuss cooperation in energy

President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi stressed the importance of the joint committee meeting between Egypt and Azerbaijan which will be held here at the end of November as it paves the way for boosting bilateral cooperation.


He underlined the need to benefit from the great capabilities of both countries to promote joint economic cooperation.


These remarks came during Sisi's meeting with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Head of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev.


The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla as well as the Azerbaijani ambassador here.
