22.11.2016 10:01
Romania is the first European country where Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR made investments, Suleyman Gasimov, SOCAR vice-president for economic issues, said, Romanian media reported.

Romania and Azerbaijan have very good political relations at the highest level, said Gasimov.

"Romania will remain a priority country for Azerbaijani investments,” he added.

SOCAR inaugurated on Nov. 18 a new filling station near Bucharest. SOCAR network in Romania comprises 35 filling stations.

SOCAR has invested 64 million euros in Romania, where it has created about 500 jobs.
