Mehriban Aliyeva attends farewell ceremony for prominent mugham singer

On December 26, prominent mugham singer, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, holder of the individual presidential pension Aghakhan Abdullayev was laid to rest in Turkan village cemetery.
Azerbaijan’s first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva attended the farewell ceremony and offered her condolences to family members and relatives of the late artist.
The farewell ceremony was held in the Sattar Bahlulzade Cultural Palace in Surakhani District.
Wreaths were placed in front of the coffin on behalf of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and state authorities.
