Turkey Azerbaijan’s main trade partner in 2016

Turkey remained Azerbaijan’s main foreign trade partner in 2016 with a turnover of $2.31 billion, says a report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

The trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan has grown 56.8 percent since 2015.

Russia ranked second in the list of Azerbaijan’s trade partners in 2016. The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia amounted to $2.05 billion in 2016, which is 10.6 percent more than in 2015.

Italy ranked third in the list of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade partners.

The Azerbaijan-Italy trade turnover amounted to $1.89 billion in 2016.

Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with 186 countries amounted to $17.68 billion in 2016, which is 19.46 percent less than in 2015.
