Working group on Caspian status to meet in Baku today

A special working group which is developing and preparing a Convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea will hold a meeting in Baku on Wednesday, a diplomatic source told Interfax.


"A meeting of the working group will take place in Baku on January 25, at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the five Caspian littoral states," the source said.


Aside from issues of developing and preparing the Convention, the meeting attendees will also discuss preparations for a meeting of the five countries' foreign ministers, the source said.
