Azerbaijan in 11M reduces gas exports 2.9%, oil exports 0.1%

Azerbaijan exported 7.131 billion cubic meters ( bcm) of natural gas in January-November 2016, which is 2.9% lower than in the same period of last year, a government official told Interfax.


The total value of exported gas amounted to $1.15 billion, down 29.7%.


Gas exports under simplified customs declarations amounted to 6.182 bcm in the reporting period, for a sum of $925 million.


In 11M of 2016, oil exports amounted to 32.129 million tonnes, which was 0.1% lower than in 2015.


In value terms oil exports fell 20.5% to $9.245 billion.


The volume of oil declared for export in January-November 2016 amounted to 19.99 million tonnes for $5.896 billion.
