SOCAR reduces oil product exports 25% in Jan

State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) exported 99,035 tonnes of petroleum products in January 2017, SOCAR's press service told Interfax.


SOCAR exported 131,527 tonnes of petroleum products and petrochemicals in January 2016. In other words, the exports in January 2017 fell 24.7% year-on-year.


The exports included 71,459 tonnes of diesel fuel, 6,952 tonnes of jet fuel, 7,915 tonnes of high pressure polyethylene, 696 tonnes of isopropyl alcohol, 6,165 tonnes of liquid pyrolysis resin, 3,107 tonnes of propylene, and 2,741 tonnes of butylene-butadiene fraction.
