Armenian soldier killed in Karabakh

An Armenian soldier has been killed in a cease-fire violation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, the News.am website reported on 22 February, quoting the defence ministry of Azerbaijan's breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh.

Grigor Yeghoyan, born in 1998, was fatally wounded when Azerbaijani troops fired on the Karabakh defence army positions in the northeastern direction at around 0940 local time (0540gmt) on 22 February, the report said, adding that an investigation is underway.
