Garry Jons: Azerbaijan is of ‘key importance’ among over 70 countries where BP operates

Under the leadership of Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, a group of ministry official have visited BP’s Caspian Center office in order to familiarize themselves with BP's activities and innovations in Azerbaijan.
 
The ministry’s press service told Amews that the minister welcomed BP’s participation in Azerbaijan’s transnational projects since the early years of independence and stressed the importance of cooperation with BP for sustainable achievements as an energy country.
 
BP Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gary Jones said that one of the company's main targets is to act as a reliable and long-term partner in the exploitation of oil and gas fields in Azerbaijan. He said that among the more than 70 countries where BP operates, Azerbaijan is particularly important and gave detailed information about the company's projects in Azerbaijan.
