Ilham Aliyev on military contracts with Russia

Azerbaijan expects full implementation of previously concluded contracts for the supply of Russian military equipment, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told RIA Novosti.

'We are one of the largest recipients of Russian weapons. Some contracts that were signed in previous years are still underway. That is, we have not yet received everything, but received a large part. Therefore, it was recently announced that both parties are counting on the continuation of such cooperation,' said the President of Azerbaijan.

According to him, the purchase of Russian military equipment by Azerbaijan is a permanent process.

Baku is also interested in new contracts for the supply of Russian weapons, the details will be agreed by the relevant departments, President Ilham Aliyev said.
